In the third millenium.
An APPEAL to the youth of EUROPE!

Things are very hectic nowadays and there are changes in all areas of life so it is important to stay in contact with home, with EUROPE , in order to live a happy and sucsessful life.
Many adults are not aware of this necessity . If the are not willing to change, their living standards and their fight for life will fall behind .
66 years are not a very long time in terms of history. But if we talk if we talk about this period of time, we talk about times which were very important, just like the time from 1933 to 1999 which justifies my appeal to the youth of Europe.
In may life I saw many terrible and painful things happen in history. Since all this has happened I want to encourage youth to articulate their personal expectations about the destiny of their home and therefore also EUROPE in the third millenium .
For this reason I want the youth to see the claim of cultural and moral attitude in relative terms, meaning :
1) Any cultural thing a nation brought foreward today belongs to Europe, not only to one nation.Therefore there is one Gothic style- of course it was changed to a spanish ,italian, french and german style .There is also only one Romantic, one Renaissance, one Baroque. The seizure of culture through single nationalities has now come to an end .
2) On the way to Europe , of course nobody should deny their national identity .
3) Every national history has to rewrite and overthink their history. My generation lived with the mistaken belief that people could be changed from the outside, by force, or by political, economic or cultural "structures ".
For me it is important to draw attention to the common forces , which are typical for all european peoples , these forces have and will always change the face of Europe .
4) For many people prosperity in western european counries has become the meaning of life for many people. People are always worried about how to improve their standard of living. To clear up things :Prosperity is not the root of evel but the attitude of the peope which results from this properity. People who share this attitude don't want to waste their time with things which don't earn a profit. The price they have to pay is higher than they think : Loss of emotions for higher values .
For this reason I make a CALL to the YOUTH of EUROPE :
1) Design a homepage of your home with your heart not just with statistics.
2) Send me a message either with an Email or over the "guestbook" in my homepage to show your willingness to prepare a program about your home which is suitable for the internet. The message will be collected and will then be installed over a hyperlink in my homepage .
3) DEADLINES :
a) SEND ME A MESSAGE IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PARTICIPATE before 23. of October.
b) Send your own homepage after 1.of December
c) Homepage will be installed on newyears day 2000 !
4) To show that I am not moving in a vacuum : I have alredy recieved progarmms from Spain, Austria and Turkey , right now there are other countries I have contact with .
5) The best works from evry european state will be given an award by an european committee . The results will be published on the First of March 2000 !
For the YOUTH of all Nations , YOUTH of EUROPE , get active !
Concerning myself : In the year of 2000 I will enter my 80th year of life and I am happy to see, which power a united Europe has.
Every country in Europe is beautiful and interesting , but still every country is just one part of the whole which has to fulfill a responsibility in our european world, a whole we call EUROPE .
